Personalized ColdStrategy

MailingCOLD Mailing Template Warning

You already know that we are NOT fans of templates and we always think that the power is in personalization for each person.

Why?

Templates can be misleading, and may not work for a particular Niche, but if you want to replicate them, you will have to adapt them, mainly because...

  1. Your audience is different.
  2. Your offer is different.
  3. Your competition is different.
  4. Your call to action is different.

BUT? Templates can help you write better cold emails, if explained correctly.

Our favorite sequence is made up of:

  1. Message 1: Includes compliment, reason for contact, credibility and curiosity
  2. Message 2: Reminder of message 1
  3. Message 3: More contribution of credibility and value in some case
  4. Message 4: reminder of message 3
  5. Message 5: Farewell

The Subject

Subjects should be simple and appeal to the recipient's curiosity.

The subjects with the best open rate tend to be combinations of:

  1. (Name), Quick question
  2. (Name), Quick question about (Company)
  3. Quick question about (Company)
  4. Collaboration (My company) with (Your company)
  5. Ideas for (Company)
  6. ( Name)...
  7. Thank you for accepting my...

Tip: Try different combinations of subjects until you have a minimum of 35% opening.

Template Cold Email Template n. #1:
"Why is this guy texting me?"

The first email is the most important (although not always the most read) and the one that should be personalized as much as possible.

It will be the one that facilitates the entrance or directly closes the door, so you have to make an effort to do it well.

Below is an example of a short, direct email that provides information so that the prospect can make a decision.

See the difference between the cold email template and the email example we use?

Don't try to follow the template EXACTLY. It is just a guide.

The important thing is:

A) I tell the prospect WHY I am approaching THEM in the first sentence.

B) I pay a compliment

C) I point out that similar companies have enjoyed the benefit.

D) I wrote a CTA that is very simple. Responds with a yes or no and does not press for an appointment
