Follow-ups

 Always send follow-ups.

I repeat: ALWAYS!!! send follow-ups!

You'd be wasting your valuable pool of leads if you didn't follow up with everyone who didn't respond to your first few messages.

I almost always get more responses from follow-ups than the first email.

Subject and body of the follow-ups:

The follow-ups must be sent on the same email chain as if you were responding to the previous email, that is, the subject of the first follow-up should be:

Subject: RE: {Subject email}

Similarly, the email above should be included under the email sent, that is, under the signature, include the previous email.

There are applications that allow you to configure it. Review the functionalities of your tool and configure it to your liking.

My favorite follow-up strategies are:

Follow-up n. #1:

3 days after no response.

Hello, {{First_Name}}, sorry to insist since I suppose you're busy, but are you interested in knowing more about how to improve your {problem} as I mentioned in my previous email?

Tracking n. #3:

Hello, {{First_Name}}, well, since I can see that you are not interested, I don't want to be rude and I won't write to you anymore. I don't want to cross the line of rudeness :)

Thanks for your time and good luck.

How many follow-up messages to send?

A lot of people will tell you to follow up until they say no.

We do not recommend it when doing cold sequences for the first time.

The most follow-ups we recommend sending is 3 (4 emails total).

What is interesting is to use a "multi-network" strategy that we explained in the previous mission.

What you should not do is copy these templates word for word.

When you write a cold email, act like you're actually talking. Imagine that the words are transported in the form of audio. Imagine the tone of your voice when you write it.

Your message must be conversational. Non-rigid.

When I write my emails, it's ME.

I can see myself in the emails.

You should define your tone. Find your voice.

Read your emails out loud.

You have to be yourself.

If they don't flow, something is wrong and you should change it.
