What is cold calling?

Cold Calling, by its translation, cold call, is when a salesperson (SDR, for example) contacts a person, who is considered a potential client (a prospect) by telephone.

What makes Cold Calling such an uncomfortable prospecting method, and so feared by many, is the fact that the person is reached "cold".

With cold we mean calling directly by phone without having had previous contact with him, so the other person does not expect it and, therefore, it is difficult to capture his attention.

You only have a few seconds to prevent him from hanging up on you and arouse his interest. You will achieve this by:
