The snowball effect in your network

Einstein says that compound interest is the most powerful force in the Universe: https://www.enNaranja.com/para-ahorradores/el-interes-compuesto-la-Fuerza-mas-poderosa-del-universo/ We do not take away reason.

The earlier you start to generate contacts, followers and people interested in your products, the easier it will be to generate new sales, so, as in the theory of compound interest, time is a fundamental factor, the sooner you build your network, the more reach potential you will get with your communications.

What you do in your day to day, is what you will become.

What we are going to look for in this activity is to start generating a contact base that allows you to have more and more impact with your publications by generating contacts from your Niche.

This will be a CONSTANT activity that will always be active.

We are going to focus on Linkedin, but you can use another network/platform if your potential clients are also there (Twitter works very well for the startup world, marketing and communication).

Every time someone on Linkedin accepts you as a contact, they automatically become your follower, and as a result of having more followers of the same profile, the Linkedin algorithm will show you similar followers and what is even better, your profile and content will be shown to other similar users.

That is why it is important to start working on this as soon as possible, in a way that does not require much effort and constantly.

For that, we recommend two things:

  1. Optimize your Linkedin profile. Yes, we know what you are thinking: But I'm still not clear on my definitive message, nor my definitive value proposition, nor anything! Don't worry, there will be time to update your profile again with all that information. What we are looking for now is that, at a minimum, it is not the typical Linkedin profile that is constantly "talking about my book". Once we have the validation part completed, you will update your profile again, this time with a message that resonates with your audience. For the time being, following these instructions will suffice:
  2. Add one of the "Value propositions" in your description. Avoid the typical "We help..." Create it with a question, solve a specific problem: Do you work in the XXX sector? Would you like to improve YYY?
  3. Develop the profile from your vision of what you know about your clients today. Improve the "About..." and your job description.
  4. Share some content that provides ideas about some of the problems you have already detected
  5. Check out Javi's profile for inspiration: https://www.linkedin.com/in/javierconsuegra/
  6. If you are not active on Linkedin, that is, if you have less than 1,000 followers, contact 20 profiles daily and MANUALLY for two weeks of which, today, you consider your Niche/Target. Do it every day for two weeks (it doesn't take more than 5 minutes) This way you will better understand how Linkedin works. Try making connections without a message, with a message, try to start a conversation,...

  8. If you are already familiar with the daily use of Linkedin and have more than 1,000 followers, you can use automation software to make these daily connections and save yourself a lot of time. You can get to launch 100 daily requests.

Regardless of whether you do it manually or with a tool, you should do it daily, consistently, without thinking about it.

Optional: Use of automation tool (expandi) to achieve meetings.

The use of automation tools is optional, but the reach and the ability to contact that it offers you greatly justify your investment.

  1. Register in expandi (look for the tool in the list of tools in case there is a discount coupon)
  2. Check this video to set up your campaign of continuous connection. Start by sending 20 connections a day.

This campaign must be ALWAYS ONLINE continuously, in order to obtain contacts.

That's all.

If any conversation arises, it will be welcome, but the objective of this action is not to sell, it is to generate contacts for the future and that the Linkedin algorithm understands that you "move" with profiles in that sector.

That way, it will recommend you to similar people and show your content to those profiles as well.

Add more contacts or duplicate the campaign as you consume the connections.

As you progress through the program we will use these contacts to carry out the validation reports and the first meetings.

It will be easier to contact them since you have been connected for some time and they may have seen you share interesting content.

Example connection message:

  1. Hello Name, I have seen that you are in the XXX group and I think it could be interesting to be in contact.

Do we connect?

  1. Hello Name, the Linkedin algorithm has proposed your profile as featured and we are going to give it a try, don't you think? It would be a pleasure to be part of your network.

NOTE: also try to make connections without message.

Second message: GIVE A COMPLIMENT!!!

  1. "Thank you for accepting NAME, how interesting what you do at COMPANY. It's nice to see companies that are committed to innovation like you. Hopefully one day we can talk!"

Vary the message to suit your style, but don't overthink it. The goal here is to be likeable and NOT SELL.

What will be the long-term result of this action?

Your content will reach a much larger audience with less effort. As this analysis says, why not have more than 5k connections if that is going to boost your content?
